The goal | Introduce students to nominal properties of multivariable systems, stability and performance analysis of the closed-loop, and control design according to nominal specifications. | |||
The outcome | Students are able to: create and analyze nominal properties of multivariable linear systems, make performance specifications, design conventional multivariable control laws, analyze obtained closed-loop performance and stability in time domain and frequency domain. | |||

Contents of lectures | Review of single-loop feedback analysis and design. Gain, poles, zeros. Interconnections. Stability and performance of the closed-loop systems. Interactions and Relative Gain Array RGA. Decentralized control. Decoupling control. Hinfinity optimal control. | |||
Contents of exercises | Application of computer aided analysis and simulation in problems of testing properties and multivariable control design. | |||
