The goal | The aim of the course is to demonstrate the basic methods of optimal control of deterministic systems.
The outcome | Ability to choose and design the optimal control strategies for a wide class of continuous- and discrete-time deterministic systems.
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Optimal linear regulators for continuous-time systems based on input-output model or representation in the state space; optimal linear controllers for discrete-time systems based on input-output model or representation in the state space.
Contents of exercises | Students will be required to implement the optimal control strategy for a specific system, using MATLAB.
