The goal Introducing students to the modern computer tools in mathematics Matlab, SAGE and GeoGebra, that will be useful for some topics in studies of electrical engineering and computer science. Modeling selected problems of techniques by using GeoGebra. A brief overview of the typesetting system Tex that enables easier typing of complex mathematical formulas.
The outcome Lectures and problem sets will train students in the practical skills for writing computer programs useful for analyzing various problem in mathematics. Through a final project, students will develop their skills for solving mathematical problem by computer.
    Contents
Contents of lectures Introduction to Matlab. Symbolic and numerical computations in Matlab i SAGE. Selected topics of the Mathematics 1 and 2 in Matlab and SAGE (polynomial and non-polynomial equations and systems, differential and integral calculus, differential equations, matrices, analytic geometry). GeoGebra, dynamic consideration of geometry, algebra, calculus and internet. Introduction to Tex.
Contents of exercises Through examples, tasks and problems student learns how to apply skills that are learnt through theoretical contents. Especially students are prepared how to solve problems that are occurring in vocational electrotechnical subjects.
