Contents of lectures | Introduction. Transmission and focusing of optical fields. Optical microscope. Examples of optical traps and pincers. Calibration of optical traps. Detection of position. Measurements of forces. Manipulation of particles in traps, movement, streching, rotation. Force on single molecul. Multiple holographic traps, sorting of cells, biological sensors. Nanofabrication by optical pincers. | |||
