        The goal Provide students with possibilities of most precise manipulation of biological molecules and dielectric particles by application of optical traps.
        The outcome Po završetku ovog kursa studenti bi trebalo da umeju da: - Povezuju multidisciplinarno optiku, fiziku i biologiju, sa primenom optičkih trapova koji omogućavaju dejstvo pN-sila za nm-manipulisanje bioloških molekula i dielektričnih čestica.
        Contents
        Contents of lectures Introduction. Transmission and focusing of optical fields. Optical microscope. Examples of optical traps and pincers. Calibration of optical traps. Detection of position. Measurements of forces. Manipulation of particles in traps, movement, streching, rotation. Force on single molecul. Multiple holographic traps, sorting of cells, biological sensors. Nanofabrication by optical pincers.
