Course specification
Course title Microwave Passive Circuits
Acronym DS2MPK
Study programme Electrical Engineering and Computing
Module Microwave Engineering
Type of study doctoral studies
Lecturer (for classes)
Lecturer/Associate (for practice)
    Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
      ESPB 9.0 Status elective
      Condition None.
The goal Introducing characteristics and engineering concepts of microwave passive components and subsystems. Training students to design microwave passive components and subsystems. Training students to analyze and design microwave passive subsystems using s-parameters.
The outcome Students will gain skills to design microwave passive components, by the use of contemporary CAD programs, through the following phases: design of the ideal and real model, layout of the printed circuit board, verification of the laboratory prototype by measurements.
