Course title | Linear Robust Systems
Acronym | DS1LRS | |||
Study programme | Electrical Engineering and Computing
Module | System Control and Signal Processing
Type of study | doctoral studies
Lecturer (for classes)
Lecturer/Associate (for practice)
Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
ESPB | 9.0 | Status | elective
Condition | Passed exams: Control Systems 1 and Control Systems 2, or equivalent exams (analysis and linear control design)
The goal | Introduce students to mathematical basis of linear multivariable systems' modeling and methods for analysis of closed-loop nominal and robust properties. Make students capable of creating robust models and closed-loop performance specifications. Introduce students to methods of robust control design and model order reduction for dynamic systems.
The outcome | Students are able to: perform adequate analysis of the plant, propose robust model and closed-loop performance specifications, and implement robust control design by using some of the acquired methods. Also, students are able to perform the analysis of achieved properties of the designed control system, as well as to reduce dimensions of the high-order system.
