The goal Understanding of the principles of operation and study of basic characteristics of semiconductor electronic components. Familiarize students with the application of basic electronic components. Provide the students with the ability to analyze and design basic analog electronic circuits.
The outcome Provide students with the ability to apply basic models of electronic components in the analysis and design of simple analog electronic circuits.

Contents of lectures Semiconductors. PN junction. Diode. Diode circuits. Bipolar transistors. Field effect transistors. Single stage amplifiers with bipolar and FET transistors. Multistage amplifiers. Differential amplifiers. Current sources. Active loads. Operational amplifiers. Negative feedback. Basic oparational amplifier circuits. Comparators. Stabilizers. Power amplifiers.
Contents of exercises Solving problems related to the implementation of the basic electronic components. Labs: basic diode circuits. Single stage amplifiers with bipolar and FET transistors. Characteristics of operational amplifiers. Application of operational amplifiers. Stabilizers. Power amplifiers.
