    The goal Introduction to purpose, types and basics of software tools used in power engineering. Use of modern softwares for data processing and analysis, for graphical and text documents.Simulation of dynamic syst, numerical simulation. Par.setting and commisioning of sophisticated equipment,for control and supervision of systems and processes.
    The outcome Students prepared to use software tools for preparation of technical documents. Students capable for comprehension and use of various software tools (for research, development and automatiyation of thechnological processes) applied in power engineering.

    Contents of lectures Graphical doc.(creatin of project, iput of elements and connections) aux.docs (specifications and lists).Technical drawing tools. Par. settings,commissioning.Connection types, comm. protocols.Contol and monitoring of processes and systems-SCADA (acqusition, trends, diagnostics) limits and implementation methods.

Demo.Matlab.Simulink.Tools for DSP code gen.simulation, emulation.Spice–sim.of el.FEM tools for slowly changing magnetic and el. field..Eplan–demo. Autocad-Ex.of technical drawings.
