Module | Signals and Systems
Type of study | master academic studies
Lecturer (for classes)
Lecturer/Associate (for practice)
Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
ESPB | 6.0 | Status | elective
Condition | Passed exams: Control Systems 1 and Control Systems 2, or equivalent exams (analysis and linear control design).
The goal | Introduce students to the overall process of the control systems design: analysis of plant properties, modeling of monovariable/multivariable plants, adequate control design and application, and testing procedures.
The outcome | Students are able to: perform adequate plant analysis, model plants, set specifications of desired closed-loop performance, choose appropriate control system structure and tune the parameters of controllers, test obtained properties of closed-loop systems both in time domain and frequency domain.
