The goal | The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the characteristics and physical mechanisms of music signals generation by natural sound sources, as well as with modern ways of generating and controlling music signals. Within the course, the models for analysis and synthesis of musical signals and algorithms for their processing are defined.
The outcome | The student needs to understand the specific nature of musical signals and their perception and to realize simple systems of analysis and synthesis of musical signals, whether they come from a natural or virtual domain..
