The goal | Getting to know the characteristics and physical mechanisms of generating music signals as well as modern ways of generating and controlling music signals. Models for the analysis and synthesis of musical signals and algorithms for their processing are defined. Audio effects, artificial reverberation, extraction of different search tags and recognition of essential attributes of music signals.
The outcome | The student needs to understand the specific nature of musical signals and their perception and to realize simple systems of analysis and synthesis of musical signals, whether they come from a natural or virtual domain
