GeoNetSee: Training on Pilot Actions Held in Sarajevo
A GeoNetSee training on pilot actions were held in Sarajevo on 26 and 27 March, bringing together project partners to review the progress achieved so far, coordinate upcoming activities, and prepare the next steps in the implementation of the project.
The first day was dedicated to a series of working sessions focusing on the overall progress of the project, financial and communication matters, as well as ongoing and forthcoming activities across all work packages. Particular attention was given to the technical development of the system, solution architecture, hardware and software components, and the implementation of pilot actions within the project framework.
In addition, participants discussed key project management issues, assessed the results achieved to date, and exchanged views on priorities for the forthcoming implementation period. The meetings and expert discussions contributed to strengthening coordination among project partners and ensuring further alignment of activities at the consortium level.
On the second day, a field visit was organized to the Curine Njive pilot site, a landslide area near Sarajevo, where sensors have been installed for terrain data collection and monitoring. The visit provided participants with an opportunity to gain direct insight into the characteristics of the pilot location and to discuss the practical application of the developed solutions in real-life conditions.
GeoNetSee is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg Danube Region Programme.
