Participation in the 32nd YU INFO Conference and the 16th ICIST Conference
Last week, our professors, associates, and researchers participated in the 32nd National ICT Conference YU INFO 2026, which was held alongside the 16th International Conference on Information Society and Technology (ICIST) from March 8th to 11th, 2026, on Kopaonik. Across 14 sessions, 120 scientific and professional papers by researchers from Serbia and the region were presented. The program was opened by Prof. Dr. Đorđe Jakovljević from Coventry University (United Kingdom), who spoke on the application of artificial intelligence in medicine, titled: "Pathways to Heart Failure Research and Impact: Prevention, Diagnosis, and Cure". The four-day program featured a rotation of scientific papers covering machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs), computer vision, software systems and modern information technologies, telecommunications, digitalization and the Internet of Things (IoT), data processing, and the application of AI in medicine, agriculture, energy, and other fields, as well as Industry 5.0.
The School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade and the Innovation Center of the School of Electrical Engineering were represented by 14 professors, associates, researchers, and doctoral students, who presented 15 scientific papers and participated in various other activities throughout these scientific and professional conferences.
