Successful Launch of the Winter School of Research Skills

Event Description: In December 2025, the first Winter School of Research Skills for Young Researchers was held at the University of Belgrade - School of Electrical Engineering (ETF). The event was jointly organized by the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Psychology, Institute of Psychology, Laboratory for Research of Individual Differences (LIRA), ETF, and Open Science Community Serbia (OSCS).
During the intensive one-day program, participants had the opportunity to become thoroughly acquainted with rigor methodological approaches, core principles of scientific research, and up-to-date topics in the field of research skills.
The event was officially opened by Acting Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering Dr. Zoran Čiča, Full Professor and Vice-Dean for Science at the Faculty of Philosophy Dr. Nataša Simić, Associate Professor. Due to the exceptional interest from young researchers across Serbia and positive feedback from participants, the Winter School of Research Skills for Young Researchers is planned to be held in 2026 as well. This event represents an excellent example of successful inter-institutional collaboration in promoting open science and high-quality research training for young talents in Serbia.
