Participation of our employees at the Third Serbian International Conference on Applied Artificial Intelligence
From May 23 to 24, 2024, the University of Kragujevac organized the Third Serbian International Conference on Applied Artificial Intelligence. More than 150 conference participants had the opportunity to listen to interesting scientific papers that applied artificial intelligence in healthcare, education, the energy sector, smart infrastructures, natural language processing, finance and stock trading, and other areas.
Professors, teaching associates, researchers, and students of the School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade presented their 10 research papers. The works were presented by our employees Dr. Dražen Drašković, Dr. Marko Mišić, Master Eng. Mladen Banović, Master Eng. Jelica Cincović, Master Eng. Predrag Obradović, research associate Nenad Korolija, as well as master's and doctoral academic studies students, Ana Dodig, Kristina Jovanović, Aleksandar Cvetković and Đorđe Nešković.
As one of the three best papers of the conference in the category of young authors, the paper entitled "Applied Artificial Intelligence in Detecting Hate Speech" was selected, the authors of which are MSc. Jelica Cincović, Dr. Uroš Radenković, MSc. Marko Mićović, MSc. Adrian Milaković, Dr. Vladimir Jocović and Dr. Dražen Drašković.
We are especially proud that former graduates of our school ETF, now respected professors at reputable universities abroad, were the main lecturers of this conference - Prof. Dr. Borko Furht (from Research Center Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida, USA) and Prof. Dr. Emil Jovanov (from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, USA).
