Participation in the 30th jubilee conference "YU INFO"
From March 10 to 13, 2024, the jubilee 30th national conference in the field of information and communication technologies "YU INFO 2024" and the 14th international conference "International Conference on Information Society and Technology 2024" (ICIST) were held on Kopaonik, with the participation of more than 350 participants and 170 papers in Serbian and English. The conference was opened by the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technological Development, Dr. Jelena Begović, who noted that this is the largest event in the region, which brings together representatives of the academic community and the business sector and that it is a perfect combination. On the second day of the conference, the Innovation Forum was held under the slogan "Serbia, the land of science, the land of innovation", and the goal of this forum was to gather all the infrastructure subjects of innovation activities and to increase their capacity in the field of technology transfer. At the forum, the digital ecosystem of Serbia was presented, and there was also talk about the protection of intellectual property, doctorates in cooperation with the economy, and technological entrepreneurship. The conference had five keynote lecturers, and 4 thematic panels from the profession. The panel "Digitalization trends in energy and the place and role of green energy in the sustainability of energy systems" was moderated by Prof. Mileta Žarković, and the panel "Cyber security trends and challenges in the protection of large systems" was moderated by Prof. Dražen Drašković, who has been the chairman of the program committee of the "YU INFO" conference since last year.
The School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade and the Innovation Center of the School of Electrical Engineering were represented at this conference by 20 professors, assistants and associates, researchers and doctoral and master's students, who presented 14 scientific papers, presided over sessions, and participated in other activities of this scientific-professional conference.
