Condition
The goal		Introduce students, in part through a recap of high school mathematics, with key fundamental concepts and facts that provide the necessary background for Mathematics 1 and 2.
The outcome		Capacitate students to follow Mathematics 1 and 2 courses, and use mathematical apparatus in other first year courses.
Contents
Contents of lectures		Basic concepts: sets, relations, functions, sets of numbers, differential calculus, integral calculus, combinatorics, mathematical logic.
Contents of exercises		Solving diverse problems related to the theoretical component of the course, use and application of mathematical software packages.
