The goal | Introducing students to basic concepts of mathematical logic, general and linear algebra and mathematical analysis. Making students able to understand and solve certain problems in their technical courses. | |||
The outcome | Students will easily recognize problems inherent in their technical courses and apply acquired knowledge, especially to solve systems of linear equations and approximate functions in mathematical modeling of such problems. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Mathematical logic, algebraic structures, matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations, sequences, limits, functions, differential calculus, Taylor polynomials. | |||
Contents of exercises | Solving diverse problems related to the theoretical component of the course. Students are taught how to recognize and solve problems in electrical engineering and computer science courses. | |||
