The goal |
Students are introduced to the fundamentals of physical processes that occur in disciplines of modern physics and technology – micro and nanoelectronics, photonics, laser techniques, biomedical engineering,… due to the large number of particles (electrons, photons, atoms, molecules,…) and interactions between them. The models and methods that describe processes in these systems. |
The outcome |
Students are enabled to use modern methods for describing systems with a very large number of particles or for describing electromagnetic field. They are capable to apply kinetic models in micro and nanoelectronics, photonics, laser techniques, biomedical engineering. |
