The goal | To familiarize students with the trends in the field of research and development of modular instrumentation and distributed industrial fieldbus systems. Provide students with the ability to work in the field of electronic measurement instrumentation and measurement systems in the industry and development and research centers. | |||

Contents of lectures | The systematic approach to the design of measurement systems. Modular meas. systems: Measuring hardware, user interface, interfacing; NIM, CAMAC, VME, VXI and PXI measurement instrumentation. Distributed meas. systems: Intelligent, wireless and web sensors; Fieldbus systems, communication protocols; IEEE 1451 series of standards; Industrial measurement networks. Software of measurement systems. | |||
