The outcome | The course offers theoretical basis and knowledge needed for computer network design. Attending this course and working on computer network simulator, the students use the knowledge and obtain practical skills in configuring communication protocols ans services in problem solving way. | |||

Contents of lectures | Computer network design - network topology, IP addressing; Configuring switches and LAN/WAN technologies - STP, VLAN, PPP; Configuring routers and network layer technologies – RIP, OSPF, BGP, redistribution, NAT; Configuring services on application layer - DHCP, DNS. | |||
