Contents of lectures | Comprehension of spoken language: natural language processing (NLP), dialog structures; speech synthesis: TTS systems, rules-based synthesis, concatenative synthesis, prosody generating, speech recognition techniques: DTW, HMM, ANN, methods of speech, speaker & language recognition; human-computer communication: dialogue management, speech to speech translation, audio-visual speech communication. | |||
Contents of exercises | The application of various software tools in the speech signal processing and working out an adopted theoretical and practical knowledge through seminars and/or projects. | |||
