The goal | Learning about specific methods and instrumentation dedicated to clinical and laboratory measurements in electrophysiology. The student after the course shoud be ready to measure and process the collected elecrophysiological data with the full understnading of lmitations and patienst' safety .
The outcome | Individual project and passed exam. The student after the course needs to ve prepard to particiapte in the clinical measurements, but also to participate intelectually in the research in the domein of electrophysiology.
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Electrophysiologal signals (determinstic and stochastic). Type and source of the signal (in the time and frequency domains). Charaacteristics of the systems for acqusition of singals origintaingfrom the peripheral nerves, muscles, heart, and brain. Signal conditioning (analog, digital). Signal acqusition by a virtual instrument realiyed in LabView or MatLab environment.
Contents of exercises | individual practical project of measurements of an electrophysilogical signal. The resutls need to be in a form suitable for dissemination as an conference or journal publication.
