The goal | Mastering methods and tools for modeling, simulation and optimization of modern radio networks. | |||
The outcome | After completing the course, student should know - to choose a suitable optimization method, - to model a radio network subsystem, - to carry out the simulation procedures, - to optimize the radio network subsystem. | |||

Contents of lectures | Modern optimization methods (artificial neural networks, kernel-based learning methods, Monte Carlo,...). Database types necessary for modeling. Propagation channel modeling. Radio network modeling and optimization. Simulation of the radio system. Modeling, simulation and optimization of traffic procedures in a multi-service radio systems. Core network modeling. | |||
