Contents of lectures | Traceability in the international metrological system. Calculation and expression of uncertainty in measurement in accordance with international standards. Monte Carlo method in modeling the propagation of uncertainty distributions. Definitions of basic and derived SI units and their realization. Modern trends in measuring equipment development. Computerized automation of the measurement process. | |||
Contents of exercises | Calculation of uncertainty in selected measurements of electrical and non-electrical quantities. Principles of absolute realization of basic and derived SI units. Programmable measuring instruments and industrial standards for interfacing to them. Using a PC for measurements and data acquisition. | |||
