Course specification
Course title Fundamentals of Computer Engineering
Acronym 19E111ORT
Study programme Electrical Engineering and Computing
Module
Type of study bachelor academic studies
Lecturer (for classes)
Lecturer/Associate (for practice)
Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
    ESPB 6.0 Status elective
    Condition
The goal Introduce Boolean algebra, switching functions, combinational and sequential switching circuits, logical and memory elements, combinational and sequential modules, and its usage in logic design of digital devices and computer systems..
The outcome By the end of this course, students will be able to: understand the structure of switching circuits; carry out the analysis and synthesis of switching circuits; use combinational and sequential modules, and construct smaller scale digital devices and simple computer systems.
