Contents of lectures | Numerical methods for 3D modeling of antennas/scatterers: MoM, FEM, TLM, FDTD, PO, GO, hybrid methods. Overview of software tools: NEC, MiniNEC, SuperNEC, WireZeus, AWAS, OSU code, FEKO, IE3D, HFSS, CST, WIPL-D. Advanced modeling techniques with focus on wire antennas (dipole, yagi, helical), horn antennas, reflector antennas, microstrip antenna and antenna arrays. Matching circuits. Optimization. | |||
