The goal | Cover the fundamentals of computer-aided design that are used in three-phase circuit simulation packages from the viewpoint of electrical power engineers and scientists. Introduce the basis for solving models of electrical power systems and devices numerically or symbolically in the time or frequency domain. Introduce the basics of theory and applications of symmetrical components. | |||
The outcome | Understand basic concepts of computer-aided three-phase circuit analysis and the corresponding mathematical algorithms. Solve linear three-phase circuits in the time and frequency domain with computer algebra systems. | |||
