The goal | The objective of the course is to train the students to use microcontroller as a platform suitable for rapid prototyping of electronic devices, with focus on application but without going into details of microcontroller itself. | |||
The outcome | Students will be able to develop simple microcontroller based device which will implement reading of typical electronic sensors, control of simple actuators and communication with computer. | |||

Contents of exercises | Practical exercises are held on MBED or similar platform, and comprise: introduction to characteristics of chosen microcontroller platform; introduction to available sensor and actuator modules and their connection interfaces; introduction of integrated development environment used for high abstraction level C programming. | |||
