    The goal The course aims to help students deeply understand the complexity of the energy transition. This will be done by exploring geopolitical, political, legal (regulatory), economic, and social aspects.
    The outcome Preparing students to understand and analyze the geopolitical, political, legal, economic, and social aspects of the energy transition, with a focus on aligning with the standards and goals of the European Union. The aim is to equip them with the knowledge needed to develop sustainable and integrated energy solutions.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Introduction to climate change and energy transition. Geopolitics and EU energy policy. Legal and economic aspects, market mechanisms, and financing. Social and just transition. Policy analysis, case studies, energy transition in Serbia and the region, global trends.
    Contents of exercises The practical part follows the topics covered in the theoretical classes.
