The goal | The objective of the course is to familiarize students with basic calculations in power systems: calculations of steady states of symmetrical three-phase systems, calculation of voltage drops, calculations of power and energy losses, calculations of allowed power transfer, calculations of symmetrical and asymmetric short-circuits.
The outcome | Provide students with the ability to implement power network computations, to design corresponding algorithms for calculation steady and quasi steady states of power systems in normal and abnormal conditions.
