The outcome | Ability to anticipate the effects that various types of ionizing radiation cause in electrical engineering materials and electronic components, apply measures for removing or mitigating these effects, or predict the functionality of irradiated devices. | |||

Contents of lectures | Radiation effects in bipolar and unipolar circuits, semiconductor memories, solar cells, gas tubes, memristors, organic dielectrics, biomaterials, nanostructured materials and components based on these materials. Radiation hardness testing. Measures for protecting electronic devices from ionizing radiation. | |||
