The goal | The use of modern methods to design complex controllers (regulators) in control systems including PI, PD and PID controllers. The analysis of control algorithms in order to study appropriate structures of control system. Characterization of the process. Improving the existing methods.
The outcome | Students will gain broad knowledge and appropriate skills about use of modern methods to design controller with aim to achieve adequate performance and robustness of regulated process. They will be able to carry out appropriate characterization of the process, to choose appropriate controllers and control structure of process control system .
