Contents of lectures | Properties of complex spatio-temporal signals. Extraction of dominant signal components. Principal and independent component analysis (PCA, ICA). Detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA). Wavelet transform. Basic concepts of self-similarity. Description of complex structures and phenomena by fractal geometry and multifractals. Fractal and multifractal analyses and applications. | |||
