The goal | To introduce students with the theoretic principles of distributed transmission, processing and data fusion techniques and their applications at the different levels of modern telecommunication systems. Application of gained knowledge in the field of distributed telecommunication systems to analyze existing and design novel solutions.
The outcome | Students will be able to use literature, perform theoretic analysis and modeling of distributed transmission, processing and data fusion applications, and implement algorithms in standard software environments. Students are qualified to independently conduct research, development and analysis of distributed transmission, processing and data fusion techniques in modern telecommunication systems.
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Distributed transmission and processing in communication systems. Distributed sensing, processing and forwarding of data in networks. Distributed routing and data aggregation. Data fusion and cooperative processing for networked sensors/nodes. Distributed cooperative access. Distributed transmission and processing techniques, including machine learning, in wireless sensor and cooperative networks.
