Contents of lectures | Definitions of CMS. CMS development history. Multimedia contents. Characteristic functions and components of CMS. Classification of CMS. Typical CMS architectures. Examples of widely available CMS. Web-oriented CMS. CMS in education (LCMS - Learning CMS). Case studies. | |||
Contents of exercises | Development of a web portal using one of the available open source CMS. An upgrade of open source CMS by adding new functionalities and the web portal upgrade by using new characteristics of the CMS. | |||
