Contents of lectures | Introduction and motivation. Basic notions. Characterization. Examples. First order equations (linear, non-linear, Lyness type). Analogues in the theory of ODE. Higher order equations (linear). The systems of difference equations. The basic notions of qualitative analysis of solutions of difference equations. Applications in different areas of maths and in electrical eng. and computer sci. | |||
