The goal | Acquiring advanced knowledge of radiation measurements, dosimetry, detectors, dosimeters and spectrometers of ionizing radiation, methods and techniques of radiation protection. | |||
The outcome | High-level knowledge of the physical principles of ionizing radiation detection, and of the technical characteristics of radiation detectors and dosimeters. Mastering the criteria for selecting the appropriate type of detector. Proficiency in ionizing radiation measurements, selection of dosimeters for radiation monitoring, as well as for implementing radiation protection measures. | |||
