The goal | Understanding difference of mix-signal designs in a variety of technologies (bipolar, MS CMOS, BiCMOS, CMOS digital technology). Training students to analyze and design typical mix-signal circuits and components. Design techniques for mix-signal circuits in digital CMOS technology. Compensation of bad analog characteristics using signal processing methods. | |||

Contents of lectures | Voltage references, types, specification, and application. Analog CMOS Switch design. Comparators and sample and hold circuits, specification and design. Specification and modeling of improved AD and DA converter techniques. | |||
