The goal | Students will learn about theory fundamentals, techniques and design principles of the high availability communication networks. Practical training that will teach students to configure network devices for the fast recovery from the faults in the network. | |||

Contents of lectures | Definition and survey of the availability aspects in the communication networks. High availability and system reliability concepts and theory. Techniques for increasing availability of network devices and communication networks. High availability network design. Survey and analysis of the high availability network design problems. High availability protocols and techniques. Geolocation redundancy. | |||
