    The goal Introduction to students with the SCADA system for managing the electric power system as a comprehensive and clear structural unit. Learning about preventive and corrective management actions related to changes in the condition and parameters of the power systems. Getting to know the concept of managing the distribution system.
    The outcome Training students for the application and use of different systems and structures for power systems management.

    Contents of lectures SCADA functions. Hierarchical organization of the control and management system. Dispatch centers. Estimation of the state and parameters in the power systems. Intelligent measurements and WAMS systems and their role in state estimation. Methods of dynamic estimation. WAMPAC systems in the management of electric power systems. Algorithms of distributed power system management.
    Contents of exercises Demonstration and operation of existing clasical and sinchronized phasor measurement devices. Work on algorithms for system state and signal estimation. Development of software for measuring control systems. Work on the development of new software for this area.
