    The goal Introducing students to the effects of the mass use of compact fluorescent lamps, last generation of fluorescent lamps, HPS and MH lamps, LEDs, electronic ballasts, energy efficient luminaires and devices for light control and mesopic vision.
    The outcome Students trained to apply energy efficient systems when designing new or reconstructed indoor or outdoor lighting installations.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Relevant characteristics of energy efficient light sources, control gear, luminaires and devices for light control used in indoor and outdoor lighting. Mesopic effects.
    Contents of exercises Visits to locations where energy efficient lighting systems are installed.
