    The goal Introducing students to: 1) modern optical measurement systems which are using in industry and energy sector, 2) distance measurement systems for measurement of dimension, distance, quality of surface, temperature, humidity and other non-electrical quantities, 3) modern fiber-optic systems and 4) optical method for document protection.
    The outcome It is expected that students: 1) gain knowledge about role and applications of optoelectronics in industry and production processes, 2) learn basic measurement methods and systems, 3) gain knowledge to understand and analyze given measurement system, alone.

    Contents of lectures Optoelectronic and laser measurement systems in industrial processes. Machine Vision systems. Spectral diagnostics of gas. Fiber-optic and non-contact measurement systems. Optoelectronic measurement systems in power energetic system.Termovison. Optical and other methods for document (image) protections. Holography and holograms.
    Contents of exercises Demonstration of some measurement tools and measurement methods on faculty and/or during visiting selected institutes and enterprises.
