The goal | Students are introduced to practical electronic devices construction aspects. Lab exercises teach student how to design and assemble an electronic device. To give students an insight into prototype and mass manufacturing limitations. | |||
The outcome | Student is capable of selecting suitable electronic components for prototyping and manufacturing. Student can produce appropriate documentation, design and manufacture PCB and assemble and test an electronics device. | |||

Contents of lectures | Exploitation, construction and technological issues with electronic devices. Temperature, climate and other factors influencing device operation. Construction parameters optimization. Active and passive electronic components. EMI protection. CAE tools for drawing schematics, circuit simulation, PCB design and documentation writing.
