Contents of lectures | Gravity, fluid statics and dynamics, hydroelectric and wind energy. The first and the second law of thermodynamics, heat transfer and thermodynamic cycles, heat engines, the efficiency of thermal power plants. Photometry, geometrical optics, optical instruments, Wave optics, photoelectric effect, solar cells, solar power plants. Nuclear energy, radiation and protection, future sources of energy. | |||
Contents of exercises | Solved selected problems and examples will be discussed in details during the exercises. Video experiments will be used to represent certain important physical effects. Demonstration experiments during lectures are planned to present the students the physical effects. | |||

Methods of teaching | Klasična predavanja u učionici sa rešenjima praktičnih primera. Tokom predavanja će se uvesti određeni matematički i fizički modeli i razmotriti njihova primena. Stečeno znanje se proverava kroz domaće zadatke koji se ocenjuju i predstavljaju deo ukupne ocene. | |||
