The goal | Introducing students to the elements of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics laws and the laws of optics. Introduce students to the XX century physics: relativity theory, quantum theory and the atom models, nuclear physics, nuclear energy and radiation.
The outcome | Mastering the basics in optics required for use in communications systems and fiber optic sensors. Introduction to the elements of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics necessary for physical and technical measurements. Mastering the basics of quantum physics for further development through photonics and nanoelectronics, and the basis of nuclear physics for the application in energetics and medicine.
