The goal | Introduce students to concepts of frequency domain evaluation of linear systems. Present the methods of single-loop continuous and digital control design in the frequency domain and state-space.
The outcome | Students are able to: analyze properties of single-input single-output systems in frequency domain, specify parameters of control design, choose appropriate continuous/digital controllers, tune the controllers, create appropriate digital control laws for application in embedded hardware.
