The goal | Provide students with the ability to analyze, design, and build power electronic circuits. Provide the students with the ability to choose adequate circuit topology to meet the requirements imposed to common power electronic systems. Provide the students with the ability to work with power electronic systems in practice.
The outcome | Students will be capable to analyze problems in the area of power electronics, choose adequate circuit structure, design a converter, design the inverter control algorithm, and design the magnetic components. The students will be able to perform measurements in power electronic systems independently.
