The goal | Introduce students to the field of electronics, history of electronics, basic concepts and principles in electronics, methods of analysis and the application of basic electronic circuits. To provide students with the basic knowledge and through the laboratory exercises develop in students the affinity for electronics. | |||
The outcome | Upon completion of this course, students should: - know the history of development and the fields of electronics, - know how to analyze the simplest electronic circuits, and - know how to use electronic measuring instruments for test of basic electronic components and circuits. | |||

Contents of lectures | History and perspectives of electronics. Signals and circuit analysis - concept and basic terms. Methods for the analysis of circuits in electronics. Amplifiers. Logic inverter. The concept of feedback. Modern integrated circuits. | |||
Contents of exercises | Laboratory work, safety rules and electronic components. Electronic instrumentation and measurement. Application of diodes and transistors. Application of operational amplifiers. Design and simulation of electronic circuits. The realization of mini project. | |||
