The goal | Goal of this course is to teach students optimization techniques and how to implement protocols at different communication layers. | |||
The outcome | Students will make contributions to the current research topics in the area of networking technologies, through implemenation or analysis of networking and transport protocols. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | In this course, we will examine some of the current topics in the area of communication networks. A special attention will be given to the protocols for exchange the information about the network topology, and to the protocols that provide QoS at the network layer. In addition, we will examine authentification protocols that provide network security. | |||
Contents of exercises | Work on a project in the are of communication networks, using different software and hardware tools. | |||
